I'm going England France as well.
Bel/Fra both have incredibly gifted players, but the French seem to have more strength all over the park. Both are highly combustible though and capable of laying a complete egg in either the semi or the final. A lot might come down to how the managers handle things (or not).
We SHOULD have enough to win, especially as they've had two tough games which have gone the distance, and looked out on their feet on Saturday. Maybe their age will work against them too, but it really could go either way and I wouldn't be shocked if they do us over.

As much as england have been an absolute credit to the nation and have manage to get this far, I still maintain we have yet to be really tested by a good team. Colombia got their tactics all wrong and tried to play the dirty card, get up at the ref,slow down play etc etc. We haven't had a period in any game so far where we have been under the cosh. If sweden, colombia, even panama and tunisia can create some very good chances against us but just lack the cutting edge then I can't wait to see the likes of mandzukic, modric et al will do against us. I think it will be a game in which england won't have it all their own way. Croatia will create chances and there is a difference of trying to keep out marcus berg or mario mandzukic.
I give Southgate and England every bit of credit they deserve by getting this far but these last 2 games are a different prospect.

This WC is much more watchable without over excitable S American teams on the pitch.
According to the experts the match between France and Belgium is the de facto final because either of those teams will easily brush aside Croatia or England.
I would like England to play Belgium in the final, we owe them for our mini league defeat.

England to get there, but then it's anyone's game in the final, vs. Belgium or France. I think I'll go for France to be the second team. One player will be the difference in the final.

Croatia were superb in the group stage, far less so in the knock outs but still managed to progress, shagged or not. Depends which version steps out on Weds

Anything can happen now and probably down to whoever has the biggest cajones.
Clearly a half decent side with some quality midfielders, but people are getting a bit carried away with Croatia. had a very easy group and struggled against Denmark and Russia scraping through, so bring em on.
